We are proud of our  piece of heaven.  We welcome visitors with open arms and warm hospitality.  Our community provides many of  the amenities that you may require, and we are just 65 miles  from Silver City and 38 miles south of Reserve.  We have restaurants, lodging, campgrounds,  shopping, galleries, cell phone service,  a convenience store with:  a gas/diesel  station,  propane tank exchange, ATM, groceries, gifts, etc.  There are places to see, things to do and the perfect place to reconnect with nature

The Hummingbirds migrate to the area sometimes as early as the first week in March.  We enjoy watching 6 different species swooping and swarming   the feeders.
The Black and Turkey Vultures migrate to Glenwood  on St. Patrick's Day and leave the first week in October.
For those who would  like to leave the 'world' behind and relax in the beauty of New Mexico, what better place  than the communities of Glenwood, Pleasanton, Alma and Mogollon. The Gila National Forest surrounds our area, the San Francisco River flows through town and Whitewater and Mineral Creeks cascade from the east. The first Dark Sky Sanctuary in North America is 10 miles N of  Alma.
