The Greater Glenwood Guide is designed to link you to: lodging, restaurants, local services, places to see and things to do. The Gila National Forest including the western portion of the Gila Wilderness (established in 1924 as the first designated wilderness in the United States) and the Blue Range Wilderness surround our communities. This is the rugged southwest. Mostly undeveloped. Wildlife abounds. The air is clean. The water is sweet.
